#TeamRV Times Final Edition 2016-17
This time of year is challenging for all of us. While we are all ready for summertime, the change of seasons, and all that goes with those things, we are also not quite ready to let go of the known and familiar which is currently this school year. It has been a good one!
I couldn’t be prouder of the children at Riverview: they’ve worked hard, learned much and grown more! I always tell them that once they walk into Riverview, I love them and it is true! I will miss their smiling faces this summer and I will be looking forward to August and seeing everyone on August 22nd when we begin the 2017-2018 School Year for 1st - 4th graders! I will also enjoy some extra naps, walks, sunshine, books, knitting, family time and Stella time.
Remember to read, write and practice your mathematics skills!
Play and keep your brains happy!
If you are around this summer, please join us for RiverRest Bookfests:

These amazing 4th graders were in kindergarten when I came to Riverview and they will always hold a special place in my heart because they are the first class I was privileged to watch go through all 5 grades at Riverview Elementary! I couldn’t be more proud of each one of them and look forward to hearing about the exciting things that will happen for all of them as they continue their academic careers.
One benefit of summer was that each day we had more light to read by. Jeanette Walls
