Student Registration - 3 step process
Welcome to Stow-Munroe Falls City School District! We hope your transition for you and your children will be an easy one. Enrolling in Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools is a three step process. Please follow the steps below and we look forward to meeting you at your scheduled appointment!
Please click on the link above called New Student Registration to complete online enrollment. Inter-district open enrolled students must receive approval before entering student information into the New Student Registration link.
For parents registering their child for kindergarten, please print and submit this FORM at time of registration.
Parent Information Night - The Stow-Munroe Falls City School District is hosting a Parent Information Night for all six elementary buildings on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School Auditorium. Parents of new kindergarten students (children must be 5 years old on or before August 1st), are invited to attend this welcoming event to enjoy an evening with our elementary principals and kindergarten teachers. During the course of the evening, parents will have the opportunity to hear how to register their child for school and learn more about our kindergarten program. In addition, our kindergarten teachers will be on hand to answer any questions.
Parents of students who are not eligible (due to their age) may attend this event, however, they will need to obtain and submit an Early Entrance to Kindergarten Packet. These packets will be available on our website soon! Early entrance testing will occur in early May/June. Students not eligible for kindergarten (due to their age) will not register for kindergarten unless testing is complete and results indicate the student is qualified for kindergarten.
For families unable to attend, registration information will be posted on the district website beginning March 23rd.

District families who prefer to schedule a registration appointment by phone may do so by contacting the Board of Education registration office at 330.689.5445. If you are residing out of the district, please call the Board of Education office to schedule your appointment to enroll your student(s) after approval of Inter District Open Enrollment application(s).
GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR COPYING
Please gather the items required for student enrollment as indicated on the Check List and bring them with you to your scheduled appointment. If you do not have all of the required documents ready at the time of your scheduled appointment, please reschedule. The District will not accept incomplete student registration.

Please select the form above if you and your child(ren) are currently living with a Stow or Munroe Falls resident and you do not possess a proof of residency in your name. This notarized document may be completed by the resident and used as your proof of residency coupled with a utility bill from the residence. Utility bills accepted are: gas, cable, electric, water - no phone bills please. The Sworn Statement of Residency must be notarized and complete before your scheduled appointment.
Parents interested in enrolling their child into kindergarten who have not turned age five on or before August 1st, please print the link title above for Early Entrance into Kindergarten packet. Please submit a copy of your child's birth certificate and a current proof of residency (utility bill, lease or home deed - no phone bills, please) along with the application packet to the Board of Education office located at 4350 Allen Road, Stow - attention Special Services.
Parents interested in enrolling their child into first grade who have not turned age six on or before August 1st, please print the link title above for Early Entrance into First Grade. In addition to the packet, please submit a copy of your child's birth certificate and a current proof of residency.
Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools offers two types of Open Enrollment:
INTER DISTRICT Open Enrollment and INTRA DISTRICT Open Enrollment
Applications may be scanned and emailed to email@example.com for inter district open enrollment or to firstname.lastname@example.org for intra district open enrollment, mailed to the Board of Education building located at 4350 Allen Road, Stow, OH 44224 or sent in to your school office. Please note inter district open enrollment applications must include your proof of residency (lease agreement, home deed, utility bill - no phone bills please), a copy of your child's birth certificate and custody agreement (if applicable) designating residential parent for education. If your student is currently on an IEP, please submit a copy along with student's ETR plan. New and renewal student applications will be accepted for the upcoming school year beginning February 1 until June 1. Applications for new students received after the June 1 deadline will not be accepted.
For students currently enrolled in the district who are moving during the school year, please submit your inter or intra district open enrollment application at any time during the course of your move. Please write the effective date (required) of your move on your application. Applicants will be notified of approval by phone or by mail.
